Deanna Melluso

As a native New Yorker, Deanna Melluso's love for makeup began early, inspired by watching her mother’s transformative experiences at the Clinique counter. Drawing influence from classic films, magazines, pop culture, and the vibrant streets of New York City, Deanna has built an illustrious career spanning almost two decades.

Her motto, "Skin comes first with a bold approach to color," has guided her throughout her career. Her breakthrough achievements include glamming Cynthia Nixon on stops of her Sex & The City press run and designing the iconic lightning bolt for Lady Gaga’s The Fame album cover, a symbol cherished by Gaga and her fans and later featured at the Metropolitan Museum. Since then, Deanna has worked with stars like Natasha Lyonne and Olivia Wilde, collaborating on campaigns for Milk, Covergirl, OPI, Telfar, Tanya Taylor, Hervé Léger, and Rosetta Getty. Her work can additionally be found in publications like Vogue, W Magazine, Vanity Fair, and Allure.
